Prague - A written agreement between the governments of the Czech Republic and the United States concerning the placement of a controversial American radar base on Czech soil should be signed on May 5, 2008, during a conference in Prague about missile defense with participation by U.S Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Secretary General of NATO Jaap de Hoop Scheffer. The text of the agreement is expected to be finalized next week at the NATO summit in Bucharest, Romania, according to Czech diplomatic spokesperson Zuzana Opletalova, who added that "now it is a question of organization rather than negotiation".
